About

Delyth Collings is a British Designer who has spent 24 years in the fashion industry.

Graduating with a fashion degree in the year 2000, her final collection was a sell out immediately after the show. She knew at that moment that She wanted to strike out with her own label.

In that final collection at University, Delyth challenged herself to use old chintz fabrics and antique flags - and to make them look modern with a punk edge. The idea of repurposing the old, turning it into something modern, has been a theme that has stuck with her throughout her whole career.

Inspired by her work experience at Fake, London - She went on to launch her own childrenswear label, in which she recycled used cashmere. She found a supplier from which She could buy preloved cashmere jumpers in bulk, and commisioned a factory to make gloriously patchworked clothing to her designs. They sold in boutiques and department stores across the UK. It was during this period that she really found her love of colour and quirkiness.

Now with a young son, and opting for a better work/life balance, Delyth has found her true passion - repurposing and hand painting leather jackets, and other leather items.

She has developed a strong sense of creativity, and aims to create innovative designs that are both unique and timeless. Drawing a lot of her inspiration from music and all kinds of art, she enjoys mixing contrasting styles and influences to create unique, wearable art. This has made her designs particularly sought after for photoshoots, live performances, music videos and public appearances.
